Maytag Dryer Repair Today

I still perform Maytag dryer repairs today, including issues such as a broken belt, failure to heat, or a rumbling noise. A Maytag clean dryer is a happy dryer and less dangerous. I realize that might sound funny, but I can explain. 

When the dryer vent, whether inside or outside, becomes clogged, the hot air and lint must exhaust somewhere, causing it to back up into the dryer. The lint builds up until it is thick inside the dryer. The stage is set for a lint fire. If a heating element fails or the interior cavity becomes too hot, dryer lint can become combustible.

Maytag Washing Machine Repair Today

Maytag washing machine repairs, such as a washer not spinning, leaking, or not receiving water, are still repairable today. The parts are still available for same-day service. If your Maytag washing machine is not filling with water, ensure the water supply is turned on and the settings are correct. 

That might mean you need a water valve, which is a typical requirement. Be sure to replace the inlet hoses when necessary. I read that one hose can deliver 8,000 gallons per hour, which is the makings of a bad day.

Your Maytag washer may not be spinning. Is it spinning at all, or is it not trying? If not, a standard answer is the Maytag washer lid switch. If it is trying, maybe a belt or two is the answer. 

When discussing leaks, remember that they typically do not improve on their own; minor leaks can escalate into significant leaks and even floods. One thing I don't take a chance on is a leak.
